I am an associate professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Sharif University of Technology.

I was a postdoctoral researcher at School of Computer Science and Communication, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, from 2011 to 2012 during which I worked with Douglas Wikström on electronic voting schemes and mix-nets. I did my Ph.D. at LACAL, EPFL, Switzerland under the supervision of Arjen Lenstra and Willi Meier and worked on cryptanalysis of symmetric primitives, mainly stream ciphers and hash functions.
